How do you bring out the greatness in others?

There is no doing . . . only being. Why is greatness in others brought out? - perhaps is a better way for me to ask this question - well . . .here's what I've noticed:
I just shine in my own beingness, throwing open my arms and heart and VIOLA, others do the same. Remember we're just reflections of other! If I put out hate then that's what comes back. But if I shine with pure radiant and lumenescent and open love then . . . poof, that's what's reflected back to me. The Christian Bible makes reference to this by saying something like, Do unto others as you would have them do unto you. This is talking about what is reflected back.

How perfectly written and I am bowing and curtseying (!!) to your shining words !! I just love Pink Floyd too. That was my favourite music when I was a teenager and it still follows me as an adult. Touches deep in ones soul, they do ! “Shine on you crazy diamond” -
Ofcourse we all are holders of this light, but maybe somone just turn it down a little, don´t know it´s there or want to keep it for themselves. To shine like you do, may claim a sort of maturity. It´s this vulnerability of ours - afraid of getting hurt when we try to expose our light. But as you say - the reflection is important - and the quotation; “do unto others as you would have them do unto you” - Thank you for sharing your positive thoughts :))
Waving the white flag here this morning- I give it all up. I drop all the pretense, all the fears, even all the hopes (because in this sense they're just a mask for dissatisfaction with right now) and stand naked on the shores of amore with you all. Let's dive in!

Shirl- I love the free hugs video! That one sends a shiver everytime I watch it.
White flags anyone? I've surrendered to it as it moves in, as and through me … swimming in an ocean of the saltiest tears of joy. Look at Janets avatar - says “Surrender Dorothy” - you know it is already within each of us, our home. All we have to do is effortlessly relax into it, our own beingness. Isn't out home where we should, can and will be most relaxed, open and free? … there goes that wind again saying YES!
Each of you are such declicious friends - I could just eat you up, and I do.
Oh, what a wonderful video !- I send some hugs from Norway :)) Would just make an addition with some words of the unefinable quality CHARISMA - this light that someone lucky ones have that can inspire, charm and influence others. I strongly feel that there is many of those with that quality here in this community. Keep on shining and hugging :))

Greatness in someone else could be taboo. What are you looking for? Anything should come from you first before you looking for it from other people. are you great with yourself, do you love yourself, are you kind with yourself. In our greatness we shouls see other people greatness.

If I didn't, and if the others here didn't see it, then we would all be broken mirrors. I own my life and my path and … yet I surrender and fall into what is. Look around again. All the lights are on in all these beautiful people, including myself - WE ARE AWAKE and so are you, my sweet. Now, let me go find you and introduce myself in a proper way so that we can shine at each other. Here I come …

Thank you for this combination. Crazy Diamond. A diamond is brilliant, strong and faceted, it shines with a beautiful inner light and refracts it outward into diverse reflections. A diamond is highly valued for these characteristics.
Oh, yes, I am crazy - utterly. Even to myself, at times, I think, “This is so crazy, how can I be like this?” and so, it would not surprise me to know others think of me so as well. Recently, a dear friend described me as quirky.
So, I am shining on, my friend, shining on - crazy and bright. Loved the music…
